Privacy Notice
1. Who we are
This notice is issued by Digital Benefits Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201735371H), trading as WiBiz ("WiBiz", "we", "us"), 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. It covers getwibiz.com and the emails we send from it to businesses.
2. What this notice covers
We write to businesses, not to private individuals, to introduce WiBiz services that may help them. Each message is written for one business, based on what that business publishes about itself. This notice explains what information we use to do that, why, and the choices you have.
3. Information we use
- Information a business publishes on its own website, such as its name, the services it offers, how customers can enquire or book, and the business contact details it publishes for enquiries.
- Google Maps Platform place identifiers. We use Google Maps Platform services to find businesses in a category and area. The only Google data we keep is the place identifier Google assigns to a business. We do not store business names, addresses, ratings, reviews or other content from Google.
- Our correspondence: the emails we send, any replies, and the date and outcome of each message.
- Opt-out records: the business and address that asked us not to make contact, kept so that we honour the request.
We do not buy contact lists, and we do not use this information to build profiles of individuals.
4. Why we use it
- To decide whether WiBiz is likely to be relevant to a business, and to write it an individual message.
- To answer replies and questions.
- To honour opt-out requests and avoid contacting a business that asked us not to.
- To meet our legal obligations, including under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and Spam Control Act 2007.
Business contact information that an individual provides for business purposes is generally outside the data protection obligations of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. Where any other personal data is involved, for example in the body of a reply, we handle it in line with that Act.
5. Your choices
To stop hearing from us, reply to any of our emails with the word "unsubscribe" or write to privacy@getwibiz.com. We act on the request promptly and in any case within 10 business days, and we will not contact that business again.
You may also ask what information we hold about your business, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at the same address. We keep only an opt-out record after deletion, so that we do not contact you again.
6. Sharing and storage
We do not sell or rent information. We share it only with service providers that host our systems and email on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it. Some of these providers store data outside Singapore; where that happens we take steps to ensure the information receives protection comparable to that under Singapore law.
7. How long we keep it
We keep research and correspondence only for as long as it is relevant to the purposes above, and then delete it. Opt-out records are kept for as long as we send outreach email, so that the request continues to be honoured.
8. Security
Access to our outreach systems is restricted to the WiBiz team members who need it, and the systems record who did what.
9. Google
Our use of Google Maps Platform is subject to Google's terms. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and use of Google Maps features is governed by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
10. This website
getwibiz.com does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations.
